The Sanctuary Café at Queen's Hall is open Monday to Friday, 10am - 1pm. It is located in the church itself, which is known as the sanctuary, hence the cafe name. It is spacious and welcoming, and houses our iconic floor to ceiling, stained glass window with its images of Wigan past and present.
For those who prefer a smaller space, the old coffee bar at the front of the building has comfy couches and chairs - ideal for relaxing with the newspaper!
The cafe is an oasis for those seeking to relax for a while, to come and meet friends, or simply enjoy our delicious coffee. We also aim to provide a listening ear for anyone who needs it, and prayer if requested
The cafe is run by volunteers, and we always welcome extra help.
