WE ARE SO SORRY THAT WE ARE NOT ABLE TO OPEN THE COFFEE SHOP AT THE MOMENT.
WE WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT WE ARE KEEPING ALL OUR WONDERFUL CUSTOMERS IN OUR PRAYERS.
The Fishing Net Coffee Shop is our on-site cafe, which is open
Monday - Friday each week, and alternate Saturdays from 10am until 1pm. These Saturdays co-incide with our Craft Saturdays, the dates for which are given in the Newsletter and are on the Noticeboard in the foyer.
All of our food is very affordable, prepared by a team of dedicated volunteers and made in a kitchen with a 4 star health and safety award.
As a Christian Church, we are here to offer more than drinks and snacks, and seek to offer loving support to all who come in need. It may be that you have a problem you would like to share with someone confidentially, or you may want someone to pray with you. If we can help in any way, please see one of the staff here.

We also offer lots of various volunteering opportunities for those looking for work experience, those looking to get out of the house and those who are just looking to serve in their community. No previous experience is necessary as on-site training will be given. Please see below for a full list of the various roles you could take on as a part of our volunteer team.

Cafe Roles:
Waiter / Waitress - This role includes taking customers' orders, giving those orders to the kitchen, delivering food and drinks to tables and handling small amounts of money.
Hot food preparation - This role includes receiving orders, preparing toast and other hot food items and coordinating with the waiting staff.
Hot drinks preparation - This role includes handling hot liquids, heating milk and making teas and coffees.
Washing up -this role includes washing plates, cups and cutlery, using an industrial dishwasher and putting the clean equipment back in the appropriate places.
